Choc-chip and banana flapjacks

A much loved favourite, flapjacks are tasty and delicious and so easy to create. These are quick, easy and cheap. What’s not to love? Serves 6

All you need is

100g oats

50g honey

50g dark chocolate chips

1 mashed banana

To make it just

In a bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well, spread the mix on a lined tray and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden, then leave to cool on a wire rack.  When cooled cut into squares.

Flapjacks. Not sure what more can be said about these. They were easy to make ad didn’t require much prep or fuss but that is a slight issue.

They are tasty if you like flapjacks, however, if you aren’t a big fan of oats then these may not be for you. They were a little bland but they did go down well with the flapjack lovers I fed them too.

Overall, they will be made again, probably for a light snack during a family event or for when I want something slightly more plain and simple.
